Hand-made Line Carrier Parachutes by Chuters

Line Carrier Parachutes that Last

How Chutes Work

To use a Chute you would tie a line or webbing to a Chute, insert the Chute into the Conduit or duct, and vacuum or blow compressed air propelling it to the end of the duct. Benefits of using Chutes over other types of installation are no damage to cable or conduit, durable, quick and easy installation, and it eliminates the need for duct rodding. When working with occupied duct use the chute for the open area. (Example, if you are using the chute in a 2” duct with a ½” cable you would want to use a 1 ¼” or 1 ½” Chute) Additionally, blow the chute through with the minimum amount of PSI that will make the Chute fly. This will prevent the Chute from blowing out due to too high of PSI. Chutes come in sizes ¾” 1”, 1 ¼”, 1 ½”, 2", 3", 4", 5” and 6” to meet the needs of your project big or small.
